The Mathematics of Wonderland. →
Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson) was a mathematician at Oxford when he wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and apparently wrote it as a satire of mathematical movements at the time. I don’t find algebra particularly scintillating, but this article is pretty interesting. And to think, I just thought Carroll was high all of the time.

For Clarity's Sake
I personally have taken very few of the photos posted here. Instead, the vast majority of pictures I post are found on the Flickr photostreams of some very talented individuals. I’ve been away a long time, longer than I realized. But I’ve missed this outlet, and since I am continually proving to myself that I am utterly incapable of journaling in any other form, I suppose this is as good as any other product. I’m just sorry I’ve lost the “friends” I had here, and I hope they’ll find me again.

I am currently on a hiatus.
In case you were wondering (and chances are you weren’t), I am on a family vacation in the South and generally banned from contact with the outside world. In fact, I am communicating this message in Morse code to a gentleman across the street who assures me he will post it promptly. Really, though, in all seriousness, I look forward to catching up in a somewhat-timely fashion come Saturday....
